Redmi Note 8 dimension is 158.3 mm by 75.3 mm by 8.4 mm. The design is such that the front is of glass material and body.

Note 8 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor which is 11nm in size. The chipset houses an Octa-Core processing chip. Coupled with an Adreno 610 graphics memory.

The rear camera is a Quad setup. That is four rear cameras. Firstly, it has a 48MP in size with f/1.8 aperture wideness. Sporting 1/2 inches, 0.8um, PDAF.

Secondly, then another 8MP unit with f/2.2, 13mm ultrawide aperture with 1/4 inches and 1.12um.

Thirdly, another 2MP unit with f/2.4, 1/5 inches and 1.75um dedicated macro camera.

Lastly, a 2MP unit with same specs as the above both this time just as a depth sensor.

The four cameras combine to give a crisp clear imagery that performs well even on low light levels when the shot is taken.

Other features that come entangled with the rear camera is LED flash, HDR and Panorama.

The video recording ability of the camera ranges from 2160 pixels @ 30 fps, 1080 pixels @ 30 or 60 or 120 fps and 720 pixels @ 960 fp. It also comes with a Gyro-EIS embedded into it.

The front selfie camera is a 13MP unit with f/2.0 aperture. Featuring Panorama and HDR. The front camera recording maxes at 1080 pixels @ 30 fps.

Loudspeaker is present in the Xiaomi Note 8. And also 3.5 mm jack isn’t excluded. The WiFi is the 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac type with dual band, Wi-Fi Direct and Hotspot.

The bluetooth type is the 5.0, A2DP, LE. Also comes with GPS like all modern smartphones supporting A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS and GALILEO.

The Xiaomi Note 8 also has an Infrared port. Which can be used for remote control programs. Like to control your TV sets, Air Conditioning units, Cars etc.

The built in battery is a non-removable 4000 mAh Li-Po type. Comes with 18W Fast charger.

The Note 8 is available in White, Purple, Green, Crystal Blue and Crystal Green colored variants.

Overall the Redmi Note 8 sports an incredible design and a fine upgrade for the Note 7. It also has a small Redmi Logo just at the bottom of the screen which quite differentiates it from the Note 7.
