Well if you can’t go to your bank to check your account balance details. You can achieve same task, by using simple memorable USSD codes. Each codes unique to each bank.

Simply scan the list, to see your banks USSD codes. Ensure the mobile number on your phone you are using is the one registered with the bank.

Here are all the USSD codes to check your account number on most Nigerian banks. There was a previous post on this before, which was like a snippet of codes to buy airtime. Here is an another on checking your balance:

Access Bank Mobile Code to Check Account Balance

• Dial *901*5#
• Enter the last 4 digits of your BVN PIN to see your account details.

Alternatively: using text message.

Enter text message:

• BAL(Space)Account Number to 08160000612 Example BAL 4892018555 to 08160000612

Note: You will be charged 5 Naira for checking your account.

Keystone Bank Mobile Code to Check Account Balance

Keystone Bank Customers that registered their account number on Airtel, MTN and 9Mobile, use the USSD code below:

• Dial *322*082#
• Follow the menu instructions to check your account number

Keystone Bank Customers that registered their account on  GLO SIM, use:

• Dial *085*082#
• Follow the menu instructions to check your account number

Diamond Bank Mobile Code to Check Account Balance

This one requires MTN SIM, on Diamond Yello Account. So if you are on this account and you have integrated MTN SIM. Here is the code:

• Dial *710# to get started with the main menu options.
• To check your Diamond Bank balance hit on your phone *710*556*PIN#

Alternatively:

• Dial 07003000000
• Press 1 for account balancce options
• Insert 16 digit number of your ATM card, then #
• Enter 4 digits codes sent to you automatically on your phone.
• You can change your default 4 Pin code to your new Pin
• Check your balance.

• Go to your message, and create SMS: BAL to 20123

• Dial *389*215# on your phone
• Enter 4 digit PIN
