It has been POKEMON, now it’s PRISMA at it again. With 10 millions plus downloads already on iOS, Prisma now lets Android users turn their photos into amazing works of art. It only a matter of time before it’s unveiled on Windows. Window phone (Lumia and the rest) users sorry for that.

There have been lots of apps in the past to try to make photos look like painted or drawn artwork. What made Prisma stand out from the rest is its use of artificial intelligence, thus making the image to look much more like they were created by real humans than a simple computer algorithms.
How Prisma Works
It’s a simple process. Download the app from your device store. Android users, use this link to get Prisma. Launch the app, select the photo you want to apply Prisma on, choose your filter from over 30 filters types, and finally give Prisma between 6 and 10 seconds to do the magic.

Some Prisma stats
Prisma founders shared some stats about the app for the short period it was unveiled on the iOS. More than 500 million photos have been “Prisma-ized”. Its been download over 10.7 million times on iOS alone. There are over 1.66 million daily active users on Prisma. Daily downloads have exceeded about 800K.
Prisma has also plan to include Video support which the company had already demonstrated. In a short while or so, We could be having “Prisma-ized” video too. Lets just sit back and watch.
Prisma on Android has all the same features as the iOS version including over 30 filters and support for choosing an existing photo from your gallery or taking a new photo.
