LG Q8 flagship smartphone is now official and unveiled. The smartphone is a 5.2 inches device, more like a 5.2 inches V20 smartphone. The smartphone is an addition to the Q-Family series. LG Q8 comes with the model number of LG H970. The smartphone features the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and going for around €599 for the unlocked version. The smartphone is already live in Italy, and may reach out to other regions afterwards. This smartphone can also be shipped from other retailing websites. i.e. Amazon, Flipkart etc.
LG Q8 Body Design
In terms of design LG Q8 looks like a trimmer LG V20, the specs aren’t as compared to the type in the LG G6 flagship device. It sports a secondary ticker screen display at the top of the smartphone around the side selfie camera, just as seen in the V20. The secondary display which comes with the LG Q8 can be used to check through notification alerts without even powering on the main display. The Dual Camera at the back is also exactly like the V20.

LG Q8 Display
The display is 5.2 inches in size with QHD 1440 x 2560 pixels panel. The screen is a Quantum IPS type employed in most LG flagship. On top of the it is the Gorilla Glass 4 protection which protects from against dust and scratches. Main screen brightness is 500its. The secondary display in turn, sports a 160 x 1040 pixel resolution similar to the type present in V20. But, smaller in terms of size. Measures 149 x 71.9 x 8 mm in dimension and weighs 146g. 
Protection
LG Q8 has a metal body design with the IP68 certification. This means the device is water resistant, as well as dust resistant. The device can sustain being immersed inside water up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes.

In terms of design, LG Q8 is driven by a Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 chipset. The processor is a Quad-core (2×2.15 GHz Kryo & 2×1.6 GHz Kryo) CPU. The graphics memory is Adreno 530 GPU. The RAM is 4GB while the inbuilt storage is 32GB with a microSD card slot for expansion. Limited to 256GB. The smartphone runs on the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system platform.
Camera
At the back of the smartphone, is a fingerprint sensor for touch identification. Near it, at the top is dual (13 MP + 8 MP) cameras which handles wide-angles with ease. The 13MP unit has 1/2.6”, 1.12µm, f/1.8 while 5MP wide-angle lens camera has 135°/10mm, f/2.4, 1/4”, 1.12µm. The main rear camera feature OIS and can also handle 2160p 4K video recording. While the wide-angle 120 degree 8MP unit can record @1080p.
Battery / Audio
The battery is a non-removable Li-Ion 3000mAh capacity type. The smartphone has the Hi-Fi DAC (digital to analog converter) which enhances audio quality. Audio option are MP3, WAV ringtones, Loudspeaker, 3.5mm jack with 32-bit/192kHz audio, 24-bit/192kHz audio recording and active noise cancellation with dedicated mic.
